Superyacht O‘PTASIA is an 84.73m/278ft custom motor yacht designed and styled for the ultimate yachting vacation, with first-rate features ensuring the comfort and luxury of guests. O’PTASIA offers a rich audiovisual experience, with five cinema systems and 26 displays throughout the yacht. Uncompromised transmission quality, performance & aesthetics were paramount for a successful installation. HDBaseT was selected as the video distribution platform and Blustream provided their latest solutions to deliver seamless 4K ultra-high-definition transmission to each display in the elaborate AV system, providing a superior end-user experience. The installation was challenging due to the size of the yacht and the many displays and sources. Blustream created an infrastructure and system configuration that allows five 8×8 HDBaseT matrices to interact seamlessly and without cable clutter on the same control system. The 26-display system (each located 80m apart from the next) is connected through a CAT6 cable. Blustream receivers connect directly to CAT6 cabling, with no additional power wiring. The results are the most optimized AV luxury at sea!
