CHALLENGE
The USAFE 603rd Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) needed a mission-critical audiovisual control system capable of automating and integrating complex systems supporting the main Command & Control Center, conference rooms, and multi-purpose spaces for the European and African theater.

SOLUTION
M.C. Dean selected AMX as the best platform to support the complex integrated audiovisual systems by providing an AOC-wide enterprise automation system for all audiovisual equipment and spaces. AMX supplied 25 Modero touch panels, 13 master controllers, and controlled a full building-wide fiber optic distribution system. The Operations floor boasted 130 individual user workstations and two 70” video walls, including 42 displays in total.

IMPACT
AMX provided M.C. Dean and the AOC a control platform, which allowed for multi-protocol interoperability between a wide array of industry standard control procedures for over 1,000 devices, operating at four different security classifications. The flexible AMX NetLinx coding system enabled M.C. Dean to deliver a robust, recoverable, and highly-available system.
